We adopt animals of all ages, sizes and breeds. People often
assume shelter animals have behavior problems. The problem is
almost always a bad match, not a bad animal. Most of our animals
came to us because the owner had unrealistic expectations or had
to move to a place that didn't allow pets.
Our goal with every adoption is to find out more about your
needs and ideals, and provide assistance in choosing an animal
that is right for you. Adopting a pet is a commitment that can
last for 15 years or more. The large investment in time you make
now will pay off in a pet that fits harmoniously into your home.

Puppy,
Kitten, or Adult?
Which is Right for You? Few people can resist the adorable
faces of a puppy or kitten, but are they necessarily the best
choice for you?
Why
Mixed Breeds Make Great Companion Animals
Learn about the advantages of a mixed breed animal. Many
animals waiting for homes in shelters are mixed breeds, and
one of them just may be a perfect match for you.
